Cruising along the palm-fringed backwaters in a country boat is a one of a kind experience. The lively village of Kerala sidelines the cruise route. The travel will cover the picturesque clean village that reflects the true natural beauty of Kerala. Being a place of peninsulas and islands, it has many tourist attractions to offer.


A refreshing journey where air is pure and the environs calm and friendly is perhaps a virtual visit to a living Kerala village, its architecture , furnishings and lifestyles of the local villagers.

This is a half day tour of 2 Hrs duration which include transfer from cochin to the village by road >> Backwater cruise in a country boat >> village visit >> transfer back to Cochin by road.

Day 1
  Check in to the houseboat by 12:00 Noon from Alleppey >> A cruise through C block kayal >> Lunch at 01:00 pm >> A cruise through Champakulam and see snake boats, Church and a village market Proceed to Kanjipadam >> Stay overnight.
  Next day mornings proceed to Alleppey and check out by 10:00 am.

Alleppey to Thottappilly (2 nights) : (Code VIT 202 HBP)
A trip on twin sharing basis with non a/c transport from Cochin to Cochin.
Day 1
  Check in by 12 Noon Alleppey (Near KSRTC Bus stand Alleppey) >> Kainakiri (Visit Chavara Bhavan the birth place of blessed Fr. Kuriakose) >> Munnattumugham >> Mankombu Temple >> Pulinkunnu (village market & Church) >> Kidangara >> Halt at Kidangara.
Day 2
  Nedumudi Temple >> Champakulam (snake boats) >> Karuvatta >> Karumadi (at Karumadi you can see Karumadi Kuttan the 11th century Budha statue >> halt at Karumadi.
Day 3
  Morning 10:00 am check out at Thottappilly.

Kavanattinkara (Kumarakom) to Alleppey (3 nights) : (Code VIT 203 HBP)
A trip on twin sharing basis with non a/c transport from Cochin to Cochin.
Day 1
  Check in to the houseboat from Kavattinkara jetty at 12:00 Noon >> Proceed to Cherukayal >> Lunch >> cruise through Cherukayal >> stay overnight.
Day 2
  Morning proceed to R block and see paddy fields below sea level >> lunch >> Visit Kainakiri (Chavara Bhavan) >> Vettukad and visit a village market, traditional house etc >> Proceed to Champakulam to see snake boats >> stay overnight
Day 3
  Morning proceed to Thakazhy >> Thottappilly >> Karumadi and see the Budha statue of 11 th century >> Kanjipadam >> Stay overnight.
Day 4
  Proceed to Alleppey in the morning and check out at Alleppey jetty at 10:00 am after breakfast.

NB: For the above packages the rates charged will be per person on full board and on twin sharing basis. Incase you have more nos in your group we can rework the rates with two room boats so that the rates per person can be made better.
